We got an update on our little guy today. I asked about his normal routine, and strangely enough, his routine in China is identical to ours here--same wake up time, same bed time and same naptime. God knows I love my sleep, so I count this as no coincidence. I asked about his personality, and the foster mom said he is outgoing and loves to smile. She said he likes to share food and toys. She said he likes you to hold him and whisper to him when he's upset. We got one new picture and one picture of him when he was 2 months old. This is the earliest picture we have of him by far and I'm so thankful for it. Unfortunately, the recent picture of him isn't so fantastic. He looks so old! I can't wait for him to be running around with his brother and sisters.

Our Travel Approval is Here!
This afternoon we got notice of our Travel Approval. This is the final approval in a very long list of approvals we have received over the last year. We've requested an appointment with the U.S. Consulate in China, and depending on what time they have available, we will return home May 30 or 31st. We should receive our appointment time by this Friday, and then we will have the green light to book our trip. We are praying for low airfare ticket prices next week. :) Just 29 more days until we leave for China.
We're coming for you, little man.

The Six Week Countdown!
We received word that our Article V was sent to the CCCWA this week, which basically means the USA has sent our final approval to China to bring our baby home! Yes, I did a happy dance today. :) All we are waiting for now is our "Travel Approval" to be issued by China that says "come and get him". We should receive our Travel Approval (TA) within the next two weeks. Though our travel date isn't officially finalized until our TA is issued, we are now 99% sure we are leaving for China on May 16. That's less than six weeks away. We will meet our son on May 20. He will turn 20 months on the day we meet him! Next week, I will be scheduling sitters for our girls, making doctor's appointments for Huihui, and contacting the travel agency. And so, the countdown begins. . .
